You are not just getting a comfy home but a west Texas experience, with access to our land which features 2+ miles of nature trails, a private yard, and open skies. Whether you are looking to just relax from the fast pace of the city or if you want a central hub for all the Big Bend area has to offer, this is the ideal place to stay.

This home away from home is a 2 bedroom and 1 bath fully furnished home. Sleeps 6.
Bedroom 1: has a full size bed with a twin trundle pull out.
Bedroom 2: has a queen size bed.
The living room has a futon, couch and two chairs. Smart TV - w/Roku and DVD player - Need own streaming account. There are also books and board games in the cabin.
There is a full sized kitchen with appliances for your convenience. Including coffee pot (& coffee), pots, pans, silverware, plates, cups, etc.. We provide everything for the kitchen, except food for meals.
Washer and dryer in cabin. Free to use during your stay.
We recommend not just staying to sleep. Utilize the property. You will have access to our nature trails and activity area. Including: geode/stone hunting, corn hole & tether ball.
Amazing dark sky. No light pollution from town. Bring your telescope!

Friendly dogs and cats are welcome if owners comply with the following: $45 non refundable pet fee per pet (maximum 2 pets). Pets on leash at all times, pets in crate if ever left unattended. Also you will be on 30 acres with other guests on the property who might have pets, and there is a risk for wildlife activity so owners assume all risk for property damage, altercations with wildlife, other pets or humans. Guests who do not comply will be requested to leave immediately. Please note pet fees are applied and payable only after booking. **Recommend** Dog booties to help prevent little stickers getting in dog’s paws.

You will have access to almost 30 acres. Nearly 2 miles of nature trails. Enjoy bird and wildlife watching, geode/stone hunting, and meditation. Shared activity area with 4 hammocks, corn hole and tether ball setup. Nature trails and activity area are shared with other guests.
The picnic table on the hill behind cabin is yours to use. That is not shared space.
Hosts live on property and are quickly available for any needs. Each space was created with privacy in mind - perfect space for secluded feel for R&R but close to city amenities when needed while in Big Bend.
